I would like to briefly talk to you about gastroscopy. Gastroscopy is a procedure where we examine the stomach using a device equipped with a camera and a light at its tip. It is a very short procedure, performed in our endoscopy unit at the hospital. We administer anesthesia, so you do not feel a thing. You are discharged on the same day after the procedure. You only spend about half an hour in the hospital.
We recommend gastroscopy if you have:
- Stomach pains,
- A burning sensation in the esophagus,
- Severe bloating or cramps after meals,
- Bitter or sour water coming up into the mouth…
If you have these types of complaints, we welcome you to our general surgery clinic to have a gastroscopy performed.

“Vreau să vă vorbesc pe scurt despre gastroscopie. Gastroscopia este o procedură în care examinăm stomacul cu un instrument prevăzut cu o cameră și o lumină la capăt. Este un proces foarte scurt. Este o procedură pe care o efectuăm în unitatea noastră de endoscopie din spital. Vă dăm un anestezic, iar dumneavoastră nu simțiți nimic. După procedură, sunteți externat în aceeași zi. Stați în spital doar jumătate de oră.
Recomandăm gastroscopia pentru:
- Dureri de stomac,
- Senzație de arsură în esofag,
- Balonare severă sau crampe după mese,
- Sosirea apei amare sau acre în gură…
Dacă aveți astfel de plângeri, vă așteptăm la clinica noastră de chirurgie generală pentru a face o gastroscopie.
